My brother had been talking about trying out macarons since these past few months so me being the *ehem* nice sister had to google and ask around to fulfill his wish...
My sister said she saw those macs being sold at the newly opened cafe inside Carrefour, Wangsa Maju. So, we decided to try them out since we have never eaten them before.
1 piece for RM1.80.
Hmm. My first impression was, eh so small! 2nd impression, tasted like Sugus!
It has a minty flavor, and basically all the colours just tasted the same.
I just kept wondering, why do people love eating macarons?
What's so special about it? Didnt find the answer in this Carrefour's version though.
Ive been hearing about Red Velvet too, so just ordered a cupcake from the same cafe.
And I'm still not sure why people love the red velvet. I just like the cream on top. Haha. My sister said it was not nice, so yeah those macs & redvelvet didnt do me, the first attempter, justice.
The next day, before I went to do some shopping with my brother, we dropped by this cafe nearby our house called Bread Ties, as suggested by a childhood friend of mine. We managed to get a 100 gm / 12 pieces of macarons which they sell at only RM8.90. Cheap!
And the taste?
OMG SO YUMMY!
During the first bite, I kept telling myself "NO WONDER PPL ARE ADDICTED TO THIS!"
So, yeah, thank you Bread Ties for the lovelyummy macarons!
Murah, sedap, what more could you ask for?
(notice that I didnt describe much on the taste? it is because I dont know what else to say besides than YUMMY! YUMMY! YUMMY! ME LIKEY!)
Looking at this restaurant, I couldnt help but to wonder why and how on earth they came up with such ideas.
It's either...
1) during childhood days, the mastermind always wanted to eat in the toilet but got scolded by parents everytime
2) sittin on a toilet bowl can unconsciously reduce constipation
3) toilet environment can make people eat, eat and eat (or eat, poo, and then eat again)

I like the out-of-the-plate, eh, i mean, box idea. I seriously do. But, honestly, it's freaking hard for me to eliminate the thought of smelly, brown, yellow, pukeeeee with toiletbowl. To think of toilet bowl equals to delicious food? Fuuuuhhh toughhhh!
Still, the concept managed to attract customers who patiently wait in line to get a hands-on experience, while the surrounding restaurants were, well, pretty empty.
I shouldnt say more because I havent tried (due to the long queue, and halalness).
But yeah, T-Bowl, you are cool!

The last time I stepped into Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil was 12 years ago, doing rehearsals for SUKOM '98.
The last time I went to a concert was in 2007, James Morisson at KL Convention Centre. Dewa live in Stadium Negara.
The last time I 'made effort' to go to a mini showcase by one of my favorite artists was last year. A showcase where you could not buy tickets, only by participating in its contest. I was not aware until it was too late, but managed to use my so-called network to bring me in.
Only until an hour or so before the show, I got to know that my network got fooled by his so-called network as well, so we could not enter the mini showcase! I was so frustrated only God knows. Ended up eating sate padang and held my own showcase later on. Karaoke la what else.
Magically this year, the same artist was having her 1st concert in Malaysia and I got to know that early this year. A few issues made me decided, at first, to not go but then as it was coming nearer and those issues seem to fade away, I texted a few of my frens asking if they are interested to go. One replied positively, and tada! She helped me bought the tickets!!!
So, on 29th May, there I was, a hundred steps away from ROSSA!!! hahahaha
Our seats were numbered, so there was no need for us to rush. Yeaheay! We arrived around 8.50pm, and by that time there was this guy (I'm not sure who) singing Faizal Tahir's song as the opening act. Sejibik gile suara.
Suddenly, the MC announces Rossa. Eh cepatnye! The benefits of being 'on time' is that you dont have to wait long for the main act to come on stage! Weehoo!
First song was Tegar. I got disturbed by the stage at first. What's with the white curtains? Nak tunjuk ulik mayang ka?

After a few songs (or maybe just 2), the curtain came down to reveal the whole stage where it was filled with the members of the orchestra. Coolness!!
The stadium was actually quite empty so the applause was mediocre. And how I wish I could be sitting at the very front.... but obviously I couldnt coz the very front seats were taken by the 1st Lady and the other VIPs. Only after Rossa introduced that the concert is about CINTA, I got to realize that, yes, this is actually a laid back concert so I just have to listen...
When Rossa was singing Kini, I got soooo excited coz it is one of my favs.
...eh jap. Yang aku tulis dalam English ni dah kenapa? Sah2 cerita psl artis Indonesia. Ah, gw tukar bahasa gw gini deh!
Yah, di saat Rossa habis satu versenya, gw jadi eksaited bangat bila ada suara lain menyambung lagunya itu!
"ku akhiri.. namun tak berakhir... ku hindari... hati tak ingin ter... pisahhhh..."
"haaarusnya takkan ku biarkan engkau pergi..."
keren ni deh! dua lagu favorite gw bergabung mmg keren abis!!! satu stadium terus histerikal ky Aizat yang bikin konsertnya bukan Rossa. Oh ya, artis jemputan pertamanya adalah Aizat.

Malang skali, Aizat cuma diberi satu lagu sahaja untuk persembahan ini. Mengecewakan kali, tapi gw pikirin biar jadi gini deh dari terusan 4-5 lagu tapi semuanya nggak menyenangkan.
Bagi gw, kolaborasi Rossa & Aizat cukup manteppp, malah susun atur lagu juga cukup baik! Kombinasi liriknya sungguh sesuai dan menyentuh hati! Haha kan gw bilang kedua lagu itu lagu yang gw suka makanya sudah gw maklum dong liriknya tentang apa... :P Cuma lucu skali saat lagu Rossa berkumandang, audiens nggak mampu turut nyanyi namun bila lagu Aizat, wah! hafal semuanya!
Munculnya ST12 di bahagian kiri stadium, di barisan2 tempat duduk cukup memeranjatkan dan bagi gw gimik yang cool! Cuma kasihan bangat sama penonton2 yang duduk lebih tinggi dari pentas ST12, gimana mau nontonnya?? Nonton di skrin aja deh.
Harus gw puji sama si vokalis ST12 karena suaranya bagus, gitu juga showmanshipnya. Saat Rossa berduet sama ST12 untuk lagu apa ya, Cari Pacar Lagi mungkin, waduhhh Rossa jga bisa ya ala2 berdangdut! Kagum deh gw! Kamu mmg talented!
2 lagu dari ST12 lantas pentas kembali semula ke posisi asal dan terus aja Ungu muncul dan menyanyi lagu, apa itu ya? "Pernahkah kau merasa, hatimu hampa?" Ya itu.. Ini satu lagi... kacak dan bergelek juga... bisa bikin penonton gak karuan...
Udah pasti kalo Ungu udah muncul makanya lagu Terlanjur Cinta harus didendangkan. Bak kata Rossa, spektakular! Bak kata Pasha, luar biasa!
Secara overall, yaaa gw puas hati dapat nonton Rossa! Bagi gw orkestranya cukup magnificent! Gw gemer skali arrangement baru lagu2nya, rasa fresh gitu. Cuma mungkin kalau venuenya kecil dikit maka lebih intimate gitu. Tapi gak apa2, yang penting kemaruk gw mau nonton musik secara langsung termakbul jua!!!
Terima kasih banget gw ucapin pada temen2 gw yang menemani gw di malam itu... bener2 gw hargai Tuhan sahaja yang tahu!
Oh ye tapi Rossa gak nyanyiin lagu Takkan Berpaling Darimu & Tak Termiliki. Oh kecewa 1%. Tapi tetep 99% puas!!!
